Vegans And Saints

If you have read the bible, you know God is a gardener.

He created the plants, and gave everyone of them purpose.

Genesis 1:29
[29]And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food (as opposed to meat).

Fruits, Vegetables, and Grains help us stay healthy.

There are 2 basic problems with eating meat.

It is not healthy, 2 examples of this, are Mad Cow Disease, and Salmonella.

The other problem with eating meat, is that in the Ten Commandments, God says

“Thou shalt not murder”

God wants us to be healthy and live. He is being a good Father and Teacher here, protecting our health, and our life.

Buddha in the Sutta Nipata teaches

“As I am, so are these. As are these, so am I. Drawing the parallel to yourself, neither kill nor get others to kill.”

Christianity and Buddhism promote veganism, as do many religions.

Being vegan honors the Heavenly Father whom invented the plants, and gave them to us for food.

Honoring our Heavenly Father is important.

In the Ten Commandments he says

“Honor thy Father and thy Mother”

The definition of a Saint is

“A very virtuous, kind, or patient person.”

Sometimes it takes patience to be kind to animals.

The truth is, it is possible to need patience to be kind, even to someone we dearly love.

Can you imagine a home where everyone is nice to each other?

We have a word for that, its “Paradise”.

Humans love.

If you’re reading this, you already know that.

Our Creator was alone before the first Creation.

In an effort to escape loneliness and have love from others, our Oldest Parent created us.

That parent created both humans and animals, believing it to be a good idea.

Here again we can honor our Oldest Parent.

They believed they could cause love from Creating, and they chose to Create Humans and Animals.

Honoring that parent, is to agree it made the good choice.

Religion claims we are all one family.

For, if we say, “Our Heavenly Father” we say it because he is our creator, and we claim him as a parent.

By claiming that, it is then true he is The Heavenly Father, also, of the animals.

Choosing to be Vegan is family, love, and good, supportive behavior.

A good deed for us humans to do, is to put effort into loving the Creators whole family, because doing so, emotionally supports our Creator.

Our Creator, us Humans, and our Animal friends, all have emotions.

While it is still true, despite the enmity weve suffered, Humans and Animals remain good, we can be more good as Vegans.
